It contains mostly the Foundation's projects and programs relevant to our members and the entire Philippine sugar industry in general.

Special Project

Family Wellness project started in Batangas

   A 2 year project on family wellness and reproductive health was recently started in Batangas in partnership with member cooperatives of LUZONFED.  The project will be implemented in Balayan, Nasugbu, Calatagan, Tuy and Lipa City.

   The project which will involve the promotion of wellness and  reproductive health  to members of cooperatives and their workers is funded by the Philippine Center for Population and Development (PCPD)

   The project will organize and train a family wellness action team (FWAT) in each coop which will provide the necessary services to members of the cooperatives.

   The project will also tie-up with local government agencies which will assist the cooperatives in providing services to its members.

   The cooperatives involved in the project are BSPCMA, BISPCMA, SAPROCOM, KAMAHARI, Tuy Market Vendors Association, BAPA, BAFPI, and EBSPCMA.

Lumbangan National High School is No. 1

   Lumbangan National High School in Nasugbu, Batangas  emerges as the top school, in  the Computer Assisted Learning Project of SIFI implemented in 9 public schools in various sugar mill districts in the country, when its 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year grantees were ranked no. 1 in the recently concluded Year End Assessment Test on IC.

   Don Antonio Lizares National High School from Talisay City in Negros Occidental ranked 2nd.

   The other  participating schools areCAT High School in Tarlac City; Dr. Juan Pastor National High School in Ibaan, Batangas; Guimbalaon National High School in Silay City; La Granja National High School in La Carlota City; Ihan National High School in Davao del Sur; Salawagan National High School in Quezon, Bukidnon and Dologon National in Maramag, Bukidnon.
